For better use of resources, new Speedpost plastic satchels in white will be available on sale on 16 September 2013 to replace existing free Speedpost plastic satchels in green.

The new plastic satchels with detailed posting instruction and 2 sizes (same as existing sizes of free plastic satchels) will be available for sale at HK$3 each. The price of the new Speedpost plastic satchel in white (HK$3) will be deducted from the postage when it is used for below Speedpost services:

• Standard Service*
• Premium Service
• Next Flight Out Service
• "EC-Post" service

Free distribution of existing Speedpost plastic satchels will be ceased with effect on 16 September 2013. The freely distributed Speedpost plastic satchels will still be accepted for posting without postage deduction from 16 September 2013 onwards.

The new Speedpost plastic satchels will be available on sale at all Post Offices, Hongkong Post Internet shopping mall "Shopthrupost" and Speedpost "Order Supplies service" from 16 September 2013 onwards.

* Items posted with value-added service "Postage Paid by Addressee" or "Cash on Delivery" will be excluded.
